Join us on Friday October 16 from 5:00pm - 8:30pm to network with local authors from the community! The event will feature lightning reads, an informational presentation about Substack and a panel of Romantasy writers and editors!
The bar will be open so come down, grab a drink and join the local writing community for an evening at The Grand!

Sign up at the door starting at 6pm. The stage opens at 7pm. Not ready to share your work? No worries! Come sit inside where it's warm and dry, have a drink and be entertained! A little nervous to share your work? This is a wonderful & supportive community who would love to hear from you.
Bring a poem, a story, someone else's story, a song, a joke, a skit - whatever you want! The stage is yours for 7 minutes!
HOPE Center Halloween Costume Party
Join us and support our HOPE Center Fall Fundraiser on Saturday October 24 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Proceeds go to support victims of domestic assault and sexual violence.
Tickets $50 each and are available at HOPE Center or purchase them via VENMO*.
Costumes encouraged- but not mandatory.

Raider Wrap LIVE Fundraiser Breakfast
Raider Wrap, KYMN Radio’s weekly show dedicated to Northfield High School athletics and activities, will kick off its 2026-27 season with a special live broadcast Saturday morning at The Grand Event Center.
The Grand will be serving breakfast from 9AM - 12PM with a portion of sales being donated to Northfield Sports and The YMCA Defeat of Jesse James 5k / 15k.
